Foundation Governors Wanted
St. Mary’s Catholic Combined School have been fortunate in previous years to have a dedicated group of Governors who have helped to steer a successful course. However, a number of our Governors are now coming to the end of a substantial period of service and we are now looking for others to take on these essential roles.
We are seeking to recruit Governors to serve the school community. No formal qualifications are required, although people with a background in finance, human resources, premises/facilities management, health and safety, safeguarding or working with people would be especially welcome. Above all, the Governing Body need people who have an interest in education and learning and a willingness to get the very best for our children. Training is provided by the Local Authority.
Becoming a Governor gives a real opportunity to serve the school community and help drive the school forward. If you are interested in helping to build a school that looks to set new, higher standards in all that it does, then why not come along to The Presbytery of St Mary’s RC Church, Poole on Tuesday, 4th June 2013 at 6:30pm to meet with Fr Mark, Mr O’Brien, the Headteacher and other members of the Governing Body?
