Message from the Headteacher

Thank you for visiting our website. It is a privilege to lead a school where all the Staff, Governors, Pupils and Parents are very proud to belong and we hope that the details within this website illustrate why.

In September 2014, I became the new Head teacher and I am enjoying being a part of this wonderful Catholic community, ensuring that all of our children achieve their full potential in a supportive, caring and Christian atmosphere. We are blessed with a team who work tirelessly to ensure our children are nurtured, supported and challenged in order to reach their true potential.

St. Mary’s is a truly special place and I am proud to be able to lead a school where the children’s behaviour, achievements and talents are of the highest standards.

Our mission statement begins with “Jesus says, - Where people come together in my name, I am with them” (Matthew 18:20). It ends with “My commandment is this – Love one another as I love you” (John 15;12).  I know that these two statements underpin St. Mary’s values and permeate through all aspects of school life.

We can only capture a small part of what we achieve together in this website but I am sure that you will be able to get a flavour of our school’s active community and how we believe we make our children feel happy and cared for at our school.
