An Opportunity...

Calling all budding historians, archaeologists, and lovers of history!

The Stones of Stonehenge…

A fantastic opportunity to hear all about Stonehenge from evidence gathered by archaeologists in the field. Tim Darvill, Professor of Archaeology at Bournemouth University, is a renowned prehistorian and is recognised as one of the leading authorities on Stonehenge and the British Stone age.

Professor Darvill will give a lecture on the excavations he co-directed within the stone circle at Stonehenge, the only archaeological excavation permitted there for many years, much of which was shown on Timewatch by the BBC!

Don’t miss your chance to ask your questions to a real expert!

Wednesday 14th October 2015 at 6.00pm
