Bikeability Training Course - Limited Free Spaces
The Borough of Poole is running a Bikeability cycle training course (formerly Cycling Proficiency) for pupils in Years 5 and 6 at our school. The four 2 hour sessions are scheduled Monday to Thursday as follows:
Session 1 10/10/16
Session 2 11/10/16
Session 3 12/10/16
Session 4 13/10/16
Each session: Arrive – 15:30pm Leave – 17:30pm
Your child will need a roadworthy bike (checklist can be downloaded below) and fitting bike helmet to participate. Your child must already be able to ride their bike confidently without wobbling before the course to be able to quickly learn making hand signals and looking behind. Children who do not reach the required level by the first session will not be able to progress onto the road.
It is essential that you also provide an up to date telephone number so that we may contact you in case of bad weather or an emergency.
If you cannot make the allocated date for training, please let us know and we'll keep your child on the waiting list for cycle training at a later date, or alternatively visit poole.gov.uk/cycling for other Bikeability training courses.
