World Book Day 2016
Year 1
To celebrate world book day, we all dressed up as our favourite book character. Then we tiptoed down to the Library, where we chose from the amazing selection of stories to read. This is what Year One think of our school library;
Anastasia
“We went in to the library. We read some books and our teacher read us a book. I like the library because we got a book about a witch.”
Ava
“We read Alice In Wonderland because I dressed up as Alice. It was so quiet!”
Seth
“There was a book about dinosaurs and there were loads of dinosaurs in the book! The library has lots of interesting books.”
Lara
“We read a book about a witch on a broom. I am dressed up as a witch and there was a witch in there! I like the library because there are nice paintings.”
Amber
“It was very good because I saw a book about a cat that ate all the cake. There are lots of books that we could read.”
Aidan
“The library is brilliant. I read a book with my friends. We got to read lots of books!”
