Dear Parents and Carers of children in Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6),

We are pleased to announce that the school have invested in a new software package to help your child with their Mathematics.

After much consideration, we have chosen MATHLETICS.  This is an extremely popular and well regarded product and it provides us as a school with several benefits.

Your child will come home today with a paper copy of their USERNAME and PASSWORD.  It is essential that these are KEPT IN A SAFE PLACE and copied somewhere else safely too.  When entering either a username or password, every character must be correct e.g. Upper case/lower case and dash/hyphen included.

We will aim to keep you updated with the progress of this exciting new addition to our school’s resources and we would encourage you to let us know how your child is doing. We would be particularly interested in hearing which features they enjoy using the most.

It’s possible to play Mathletics on computers with an internet connection including Tablets and Mobile Devices. If your child does not have access at home, please speak to the school in confidence.

The purchase of this software means that it will replace previous programmes supported by the school such as My Maths. I hope you agree with us that this is a wonderful new resource to support your child’s learning and we look forward to seeing your child’s enthusiasm for maths growing in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your continued support,

Mr. R. Howard, Head Of Key Stage 2.
