Design a Poster

This week is the 90th anniversary of national Walk to School week.

The challenge is to get to the heart of walking and how it can benefit the whole community as well as improve individual wellbeing.

The school council is running a poster competition for Walk to School Week to encourage children to use cars less.

We need children to design a poster to persuade children and adults the benefits of walking - two winners from each Key Stage will win a prize!

Please give your entries to your school councillor by Friday 24th May.

The school is also taking part in a Walk to School week competition run by Poole Council.

This is the 3rd year the competition has taken place. The school with the highest percentage of children who walk to school next week will win the prestigious golden boot trophy which will be presented by the Mayor! Each class will have a chart to track how many children have walked, scooted or cycled to school. Let's see if we can win this year!

Good luck!
