Our precious Oceans
16th July 2019
We had an art workshop on Tuesday where the children discussed the extent of the non-recyclable plastic problem faced by our oceans. They wanted to do something to help raise awareness and reduce some of the plastic being thrown away.
With the help of Abi, the children printed a sea background using bubblewrap. They then cut out and decorated a sea creature using non-recyclable plastic wrappers to make patterns.
The children were challenged to add a smiley face to their creature by cutting and sticking, and even used milk bottle lids to print their own bubbles!
We all had an inspiring time, and made some wonderful artwork.
