Our Summer Fayre is fast approaching! (where does the time go?) It will be held on Friday 29 June, this year we thought we would make it fun with a picnic theme!
We have lots of fun and all-inclusive activities planned, including stalls, bouncy castle, sports displays, Pimms tent, cream teas, pizza, ice cream and much more. To make this a great event that the whole school community can enjoy we hope that parents will give up a short amount of time to help on the day.
Volunteers
Just outside the reception office you will see a very large poster which gives the opportunity for you to volunteer just 30 minutes of your time to help ensure the fayre goes smoothly. Please do come along and sign-up, we have so many fantastic activities, food, drink and games that we need your help to make happen!
Silent Auction!
We also previously mentioned we are planning to trial a silent auction at this year’s Summer Fayre.
We are asking parents, friends, grandparents if they could donate a prize which can be auctioned prior to the summer fayre. We already have some fantastic auction prizes, from an hour of electrician’s time to paddle boarding lessons to days-out vouchers. We would love the whole community to get behind this new venture! Can bake a cake, offer a pedicure or haircut, a car MOT…anything really?! Please either pop into the office and leave your details or email us at pta@st-marys.poole.sch.uk by Friday 22nd June.
We will notify parents or auction prizes and how to put in your sealed bid the week before the summer fayre.
