Teaching Assistants - Level 2
Required from 1st September 2021
Poole Grade D £18531 - £19569 (pro rata).
We are looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with experience and/or enthusiasm and interest of working in a primary school setting. Experience of working on a 1to1 basis with children with additional needs would be an advantage.
Hours of work will be 26.66 or 16.66 hours Monday to Friday during our school day 8.45 a.m. to 3.15 p.m, term time plus training days. Please mention in your application which post you are interested in. These roles will be offered as two posts to the right candidates: Post 1 8:45am -12:20pm Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 training days and Post 2 8:45am -3:15 pm Monday to Friday, term time plus 5 training days.
You will need to possess the following:
Superb communication skills whilst maintaining confidentiality
Be committed to the principles of equality of opportunity for all.
The ability to develop an understanding of and provide for pupils’ specific personal needs to ensure a safe learning environment.
Ability to work on your own and to cooperate as a team player
Have a committed flexible/ 'do what it takes' approach to work
Be positive and passionate about working with children
